London is the capital and the biggest town of England. It has been the most populous city in the world. Unfortunately, it doesn't today, but it still a major city.

There is a lot of things to do at London! There is five of these things.

Museums

London has a large number of museums (nearly 170!) and among the richst in the world. Major museums have recently revamped, enjoying the heavenly manna revenue collected by the state on the National Lottery Game. Exhibition spaces have been redesigned, offering visitors a better readability of works and objects presented, and many audiovisual tools now flesh out the old academic texts. Most major public collections are free. Other museums are very expensive or even unaffordable, as Madame Tussauds and Tower Hill. All monuments managed by the Crown (Tower of London, Kensington Palace, Hampton Court Palace) are expensive.

Monuments and walks

London is a collection of distinct neighboourhoods and old villages. It is important to understand the shifts from one area to another to get better at identifying this metropolis with complex ramifications. It is not uninteresting to choose a thematic tour of one of the many associations that offer guided walks. There's something for everyone: «Jack the Ripper» in Withechapel; «Jewish Quarter», «The Beatles», «Shakespeare and Dickens», «Diana, Princess of Wales», Sherlock Holmes», The pubs of the Thames», «City of Ghosts» ,«Little Venice»... Roughly 2 hours walk and 6 to £10 per person.

Real estate

Land in the the historic heart of London for centuries belong to some wealthy families. Today it is very difficult or impossible for the simple chap, acquire life a jouse or land, the lenght of the property is limited to 99 years! The owners have, in addition, all commercial activities on their land. If the Queen and the wealthy aristocratic families own much land in the capital, the Anglican Church has whole streets around Hyde Park. This quasi-feudal adds to the picture of aristocratic tradition of English society, but seems increasingly anachronistic.

Parks

One of the proudest moments of London lies in its parks. They carry almost all the name of Royal Parks because they belong to the Crown. The most famoust Hyde Park, in the center, the largest and most popular extended by Kensigton Gardens. We can swim and rent boats in summer. Regent's park, North Green Park and St. James's Park, near Buckingham, are the mort enjoyable. This recalls the French gradens designed by Le Nôtre. Do not forget the many samll parks dependent terraced houses, these alignments Georgian houses buuilt in the eightennth century yo meet the population growth of the capital.

Pubs

Typicallly British tradition, the pub is the meeting place by excellence. People come here to spend a relaxing and joyful discussion. The pub, in general, offers several lounges, the differences are less sensitive: public bar, lounge bar, saloon bar, private bar (the latter is reserved for a club). We practice an activity so few pubs in French that the word does not even exist in our language is «socialized». It talks about everything and nothing. You will feel the extraordinary atmosphere of merging classes, here are the left in the cloackroom social origin and spawn with the enemy.
