  1. ''Lights flicked on and house-doors opened all down the street, to watch the carnival set up.'' The carnival is the scene in front of Montag's house.

     

  2. ''Now, Montag, you're a burden.'' Montag is compared to a burden because he is a responsibility to deal with.

     

  3. The bombing is like the 09/11/01.

     

  4. Granger remembers his grandfather for what he did. It's like history classes... We remembers what people did.
